Moetan (もえたん) started out as a English language study book series, published by SansaiBooks, Japan, in the year of 2003. In the year of 2007, the Moetan anime television series was released. Moetan is about a high school girl named Najihara Ink who, with her magical girl alter-ego, she helps the people of her city, and her crush, Nao-kun, with English tutoring lessons.
